We’ve received so many submissions in the past two weeks, and we’d like to thank everyone who’s keeping us busy editing. This week, we’re posting an essay from Charlotte Sawyer OC ‘13, who also does a lot of our publicity. She wrote this essay for CAST 235: “Cultural Citizenships,” and we enjoyed her plain, accessible style and entertaining narrative, charting how radical social movements are later sold to us as Sambas.
Big, new things are coming to Cerebral Hemorrhage, so be sure to check us out again soon.

For our first article, we pressured our Submissions Editor, Sarah Axelrath, to hand over a paper she wrote for CAST 251: “‘Unstable’ Bodies: An Introduction Dis/ability Studies” about militarization, disciplining children’s bodies, American citizenship, and obesity. This should be rather interesting.
Enjoy.
Hey, Oberlin,
Welcome to Cerebral Hemorrhage. We’ll have more up for you to check out soon.
Thanks, babe.
Love,
Cerebral Hemorrhage
